Jim Ryden
Co-Chief Executive Officer, President, Eastern Region

As Co-Chief Executive Officer, Jim shares responsibility for leading the company, and oversees the Eastern Region. Jim joined Space Center in 1997 and is a member of the company’s Board of Directors, and is a Trustee of the Donald G. McNeely Trust, the sole shareholder of Space Center. Jim has 32-years of experience focused on the industrial sector, specializing in development, acquisition, leasing and management. Prior to Space Center, Jim worked for Coldwell Banker Commercial (now CBRE) as an Industrial Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia, and as a Land Broker for Merritt Properties and Property Systems Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia.

Jim graduated from Georgia State University with a M.S. degree in Real Estate, and from Regis University with a B.S. degree with honors in Business Administration. Jim is a licensed real estate broker and member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Georgia Chapter, and a member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, where he serves as Chair of the Industrial Development I Forum. Jim is also an Honorary Board Member of the Special Olympics of Georgia.

Jim resides in Atlanta, Georgia, and splits his time between the company’s Southeast Region office in Atlanta and headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota.
