Space Center entered the Chicago industrial market in 1997 with the acquisition of a 1 Million SF speculative 2-building rail-served bulk distribution project in the Aurora submarket. Since then, the company has acquired an additional 2 Million SF in the western submarkets and expanded into La Porte and Portage, Indiana. Chicago is one of Space Center’s primary target markets for acquisitions and development.
