Space Center entered the Kansas City industrial market in 1979 with the acquisition of a former limestone mine in Independence, Missouri, which the company re-purposed into an underground industrial park. The unique environment provides comfortable year-round temperatures, low utility costs and secure space at competitive rates. Space Center owns and operates approximately 7 Million SF of underground space in Kansas City.
